Welcome to OC Mold Pros
Our Story
OC Mold Pros has been a business in the making for over 10 years. Joy and Jason started a journey into helping people understand the effects of mold-related illness that began 10 years earlier when Joy and Jason bought their first home in Minnesota. Joy became very sick due to high levels of mold in the home from water backups and poor construction from a basement remodel. As she became sicker, they realized the devestating effects of mold.
These experiences set in motion a series of events, starting with Joy and the kids moving to live with friends while Jason stayed back to deconstruct the basement in attempts to remediate the mold.
Jason has a background in the water damage restoration industry, as well as being a licensed general contractor in Minnesota for 10 years. When Jason called in for a mold inspection, it was like a light bulb had gone off. Until then, he and Joy did not have any idea what was happening to her other than their house just smelled old. Mold it was. That is what caused Joy to become so sick.

Jason has taken his knowledge from water restoration, his experience as a building contractor, and his passion to help educate people to create OC Mold Pros. Our mission is to help people and provide a service that we wish we had during our own struggles with mold.

Our mold inspection team consists of experienced professionals who are passionate about what they do and dedicated to providing the best possible service to our customers. We are mold experts out of San Clemente, California who provide professional mold testing.
